Description

Turkvaz has had a tumultuous journey, evolving from a beloved Turkish eatery into a mixed experience for patrons. While some diners reminisce about the restaurant's once-stellar menu filled with authentic flavors, recent visits have revealed a decline in food quality and portion sizes. Takeaway orders often arrive late and cold, disappointing expectations. However, loyal customers still praise the friendly service and standout dishes, particularly the casseroles. The ambiance remains inviting, making it a pleasant spot for dining. Ultimately, Turkvaz is at a crossroads, needing to recapture its previous excellence to satisfy an increasingly discerning clientele.

First impressions last. Ordered a takeaway chicken in yoghurt kebab at £17+. Venue looked great, dishes going to the table looked amazing value. Opening our foil container and it was almost all bread. Should either change the name of the dish to bread in yogurt with a bit of chicken garnish, or put more of the primary named ingredient in. Calling them back is just as fruitless as it’s perm engaged but it is Saturday. Perhaps Saturdays is con the takeaway customers day. Doubtful will ever use again or go in based on this. Service and atmos was ok, but food a huge let down.
