A restaurant bar at the ramsgates victorian harbourfront. his modern styling swings something with its surroundings and on the first look everything seems flashing over substance. but at lunch I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by his friendly and welcoming staff and also the very tasty pasta dish of meeresfruits I had.
I did not enjoy my experience at this restaurant. The additional COVID-19 sanitation measures were lacking. The worn and dirty menus were unappealing. The quality of the food was subpar and the prices were too high.
The restaurant is in a fantastic location, with outdoor seating overlooking the harbor. We also enjoyed a wonderful bottle of rosé champagne. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, especially on a Saturday night. See photos for reference.
I recently took a trip to Ramsgate for 4 days and had an incredible time. I visited Rokka restaurant every day and was thoroughly impressed with the food, beer, and service. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.
Situated directly opposite the harbour, good outdoor seating and nice bar inside. Seems popular with some of the younger generation but a good mixture of people and age groups. Ordered, a mixture of Turkish/Greek food, good fast service and portion size good. When its too hot you just need light but yummy food and this is a good place for it. Not a big menu but spot on for the summer days down the coast. Would visit again when back in Ramsgate.
