I ordered two chopped BBQ sandwiches with BBQ sauce and two dinner salads, specifying only lettuce, cheese, and ranch dressing. However, I received the salads with everything except cheese. This has happened several times now.
I apologize for the mix-up; I accidentally reviewed the wrong restaurant. I've deleted my previous review because I haven't had the chance to visit Hickory Roots Barbecue yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I meant to review Soulman’s Barbecue, which I've actually been to. Hopefully, I'll see you soon, Hickory Roots!
This is the top spot in Terrell for an incredible salad bar! The barbecue is outstanding too! I particularly enjoy the ribs and jalapeño sausage. The staff is warm and friendly.
I ordered the smoked brisket platter, and it was excellent! The BBQ was spot-on, and the roll that accompanied it was fantastic. The pricing was reasonable as well. Don’t let the outward appearance fool you; while it may not look like much from the outside, it’s definitely worth a visit. If you try it once, you'll find yourself coming back for more. I'm really glad I did!
This place is decent, but it’s not quite a 4.2-star spot. It’s average at best, which is perfectly fine for BBQ during a road trip. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable, but don’t expect anything extraordinary.
