Egg Morning Cafe
Description
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
This restaurant has garnered a spectrum of feedback, highlighting both its culinary potential and significant service challenges. While some patrons rave about the delicious and reasonably priced food, others express disappointment in the staff's professionalism and cleanliness. Reports of unkempt tables and overwhelmed waitstaff underline a lack of urgency and organization. Although certain dishes, like the veggie omelette, receive praise, inconsistencies in meal preparation and service remain a concern. Nonetheless, for those willing to overlook these issues, it may still prove to be a charming breakfast spot worthy of a visit.

Wow! When we walked in, not a single table was clean. One of the four young girls eventually got up to wipe a table, but then she used the same rag to clean the floor and tossed it onto the next table. Throughout our visit, all four of them sat at a front table on their phones, showing no effort to tidy up. It wasn't until a mother and her two young children arrived that anyone bothered to clean a table, and even then, they used that same dirty rag. It was incredibly unprofessional, disgusting, and unsanitary! I will never come back to this restaurant again.
This restaurant has the most disappointing waitstaff I've ever encountered. It's hard to believe this could lead to the downfall of the establishment. I get that they're understaffed, but there was no sense of urgency whatsoever. We had to pour our own drinks and frequently remind the waitress to bring us silverware. She even overlooked part of our order and seemed unaffected when she accidentally spilled an entire tray of drinks on us. The service was terrible, and we definitely won’t be returning.
The food was satisfactory, but nothing really stood out. When I asked the waitress about the best item on the menu, she mentioned that she doesn't eat there. This made me a bit hesitant to come back, especially since it seems the staff isn't fond of the food either. Additionally, I found the price of $2.99 for a cup of coffee to be somewhat steep.
Egg Morning Cafe is a fantastic spot. My omelette was over 1.5 inches thick and cooked perfectly. The food was excellent. We arrived at 10:00 on a Sunday and were seated right away. This isn’t usually the case, but I’m glad it happened today. The menu offers a great variety that’s definitely worth trying.
The food was decent. I ordered a veggie omelette, but the cheese tasted like a slice of processed yellow cheese. The service was lacking, with only two waitresses who seemed overwhelmed. It took them 25 minutes to take our order, and that was only after we asked one of them. They definitely need more staff, similar to many other establishments. It's unfortunate because this place has potential. The interior feels a bit worn and could benefit from some brighter colors.
