I have created this wonderful little tea shop!, the young who own it, have a perfect oasis for eating, drinks and chat. I would recommend a visit at any time. it's from home, and you're so welcome. if we are back to kernow, we are back! View all feedback.

What tonyandjo dislikes about The Studio Teashop:
I am disappointed to hear that the restaurant has closed down. I tried a different trendy and expensive option and ended up regretting it. I wish you all the best in your retirement. I may not be coming back to Ashburton, which is a shame. View all feedback.

We absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is amazing and the hospitality is always top-notch. We haven't had the chance to visit since the pandemic started and we really miss it! Could we please make a reservation for cream teas in early August? (I'm not kidding) Warm regards from the Roberts family in Bristol xx

My girlfriend and I visited the tea rooms today and were very pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and very friendly. Likened to being welcomed into someone’s home and being treated like a good friend. Quaint and quirky decor, great food, chilled atmosphere and warm service! Definitely a must when visiting Ashburton!

We fell afoul of a traffic diversion in town and were deposited almost at the Studio Teashop doorstep. Creamy carrot corriander soup and warm cheese scones soothed our appetites while the homey atmosphere of the restaurant made us relax smile. Gracious host, friendly pup, warm local patrons, fab food all worked in concert to make an accidental lunch one of the most memorable and delicious events on our holiday. You should make it one of your taste memories as well.

Visited The Studio Tea Rooms on Easter Saturday and received a warm welcome from the excellent hosts, Dave and SteveOur children had home made spag bol absolutely excellent apparently and we had a cream tea the best during our Easter break and a paté salad equally deliciousThis tea room is unique and a real gem. It's popular and busy so it's not always possible to get a table a peak times, but worth wandering around Ashburton and trying again if you can't get in at the first attempt :
