We had a superb meal prawn and chorizo pasta. Good selection of beers and lagers and a really friendly landlord. The pub had a good atmosphere. We'll be back.
The best pub I found in Newton Abbot for the day. Sadly too late and only time for one. Good selection of real ales (and some wine for the ladies). Hard and soft seating, beer mats all over the ceiling. I must go back sometime.
We have eaten there on previous occasions and as usual, the standard was very good with an original selection on the menu. The staff were friendly and coped well with a pre-Christmas rush. Coupled with an interesting choice of craft beers, as well as a few standard choices, definitely the best choice in Newton Abbot.
Drop in now and again and everytime is a great experience. Food is very good quality and a good selection of meals The ale selection is also very good and the staff are sound!!
Food and beer was really good and reasonably priced, kids was made welcome and used the pool table. Nice beer garden too. It was a one man band after the chef phoned in sick but he did an excellent job.
