I highly recommend che... read more This Chinese restaurant is the best in town. The food is top-notch and perfectly cooked. The place is spotlessly clean and very inviting. I highly recommend checking it out in Newton Abbot. The dishes are all clearly prepared by a highly experienced Chinese chef. This restaurant is a gem and a true credit to Newton Abbot.

I had special fried rice and the duck and chi... read more This is the second time I’d got a takeaway for the family. The first one was good but sadly this was not so great. I had special fried rice and the duck and chicken (I think that was what it was) was laid on the top in large slices. All were completely dried out. I had to tear them by hand but gave up. The special fried rice was however lovely. My daughters chicken chow neon looked good but the first piece of chicken was a strange flavour and taste so she was reluctant to continue. My sons sweet and sour battered chicken was good and I the left overs the following day. Unlikely to go again in a hurry. Yes I could complain but we’d got home and really would take our custom elsewhere. We’ve yet to find a reliable Chinese takeaway; living in Paignton for many years we used one takeaway for nearly 30 years so the bar is high, Delivery was 1.5 hour wait and walk in was about 10 minutes. Felt it appeared a bit too quickly but I’m not sure how they prioritise. Maybe a one off but I’ll cast my net elsewhere in the immediate future. Good extensive menu and descriptions. Doesn’t appear to have the restaurant part open so takeaway only I believe.

I refused to... read more We returned to go back and try again as recommended by friends to join them, upon entering it was the same tired state as it was several years ago. I refused to go any further and went for a far superior meal in a rival restaurant. We shall not return.
