Menu

A comprehensive menu of Mill End from Teignbridge featuring all 18 menus and drinks can be found here on the menu.

Nestled in an idyllic location, this restaurant offers a mix of charm and culinary potential but unfortunately falls short in several areas. While the exterior is inviting and the staff friendly, diners report inconsistencies with the food quality and service, leading to disappointment. The limited menu, although featuring well-prepared dishes, fails to impress some guests, particularly with pricing concerns and service delays from management. Despite these setbacks, the venue maintains its appeal with lovely surroundings and a welcoming atmosphere. Ideal for a quick lunch or a sweet treat, it shows promise but requires a clearer commitment to guest satisfaction.

This restaurant offers a fine dining experience with a homey feel. You relax in the sitting room with a pre dinner drink and review the menu. The menu has beautifully prepared and presented meals, but it is a limited menu, on the evening we dined there was a choice of 3 mains. Good selection of wines all well priced. Attentive service View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Mill End:
Driving by on many occasions, we finally had the chance to visit. What a disappointment! The outside is much nicer than the inside and the serving staff far better than the food. e.g. Served new potatoes instead of sautéed potatoes and seasonal veg to accompany main course, no sign of it! My party dined at this restaurant on a Saturday evening and opted for the Gourmet menu. We were not let down by our choice. The service we received was excellent throughout our meal. The restaurant had a delightful atmosphere and the food was exceptional. Each course was delicious, and we only regretted that we had to drive home, as we would have loved to indulge in the wine flight. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning when they change their menu for the new season. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Lovely position. Clean. Nicely laundered sheets. Fab breakfast freshly cooked with locally sourced ingredients. Buffet of cereals, yoghurt, juices etc. All for under £100 on the edge of Dartmoor and pet friendly. We had reserved Bovey Castle but for great value for money wished we had booked a second night here. The people also care. Great hospitality.

The seasonal menu at this restaurant is outstanding. The wine list is impressive and the food is delicious. The comfortable atmosphere and attentive service provided by the friendly and efficient staff make for a great dining experience. It is evident that the chef is a talented gem from Devon.

Good and varied menu with thoughtful wine list. Service very good for dinner, but could have been better at breakfast apparently we sat down at a particularly busy time that morning.. Delicious breakfast however... Some tables outside the main restaurant allow dogs.
