Co... read more I found the cafe looked very tired. The service was slow. Most of the staff didn’t engage with customers and seemed more interested in talking to each other. Coffee and chocolate brownie were both good but I won’t be going back. My experience at the Exeter Coffee 1 is far superior.

I had to wait in line for a long time, only to be informed... read more Today, I went to a restaurant and was disappointed to find out they were out of hot chocolate powder. I had to wait in line for a long time, only to be informed that there was no hot chocolate available. The staff was rude, and there were dirty dishes everywhere. People were getting frustrated, and it's about time something was done to improve the situation.

This restaurant was awful. They ran out of teapots so I had to settle for a tea bag in a cup, which was only half full when I removed the tea bag. I had to ask... read more This restaurant was awful. They ran out of teapots so I had to settle for a tea bag in a cup, which was only half full when I removed the tea bag. I had to ask for a top up. They didn't have milk pourers either, so we had to pour milk from espresso cups that didn't pour well. The table was dirty and we had to clear it ourselves. The bathroom was in terrible condition with thick dust on the pipe work. Overall, it was a mess and very overpriced. I will not be coming back.

Apparently the dishwasher was broken- so they were using disposables for ALL drinks PLUS lids for every order (for health and safety- just wash the cups!! Three people on shift, with one on washing up. Seems they could only bring themselves to wash the few plates and the odd bit of cutlery. It wasn't that busy, but most people were having to clear the tables to be able to sit down. Really bad show. Have a word with your staff. Other people in the queue were also astonished at the disposable attitude.

The manager just didn't care and left. What a fool
