Sol's Cafe - Teaneck
Sol's Cafe
Description
This neighborhood cafe blends Hispanic flavors with American deli classics, offering generous, satisfying sandwiches and breakfast items (eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles) and a kid-friendly menu. However, patrons report inconsistent seasoning, bland coffee, undercooked dishes, and serious service and cleanliness concerns — including rude staff, refusal to re-make orders or refund, and even a hair in food. The result is a mixed experience: good value and portions when it works, but unreliable food quality and customer service make visits a gamble.

I ordered the Fried Egg Two Eggs Sandwich with special instructions for well-done bacon and cheddar cheese. The bacon was indeed cooked well and there was a generous portion. Additionally, it included the right type of cheese.
As for kid-friendly options, they have chicken fingers and fries, grilled cheese, French fries, chocolate pancakes, and waffles topped with strawberries and bananas.
The sandwiches are excellent! They offer a breakfast platter, omelets, and paninis.
I found a large hair in my food. Disgusted. I called for a refund and was told “they couldn’t do anything”. I was told “their worker has black hair not the color in the picture” and he “wears a Hair net” it was there as soon as I opened my meal no one in my home his this color hair so please tell me where this came from…? Yeah definitely so upset and disgusted.
