I am Mexican and have tried a... read more There are a lot of negative reviews for this restaurant, but I ordered their birria tacos and they were the best I've had so far. I am Mexican and have tried a few places around Jersey, but these are the best. The $16 price may seem high, but it is definitely worth it for a taste of Mexico.

This way,... read more The tacos at this restaurant are excellent and authentic! I appreciate that they let us order four different flavors instead of four of the same kind. This way, we can try a variety of options and figure out our favorites. Everything we tried was delicious, including Al Pastor, Lengua, Chorizo, Pollo, Bistec, Camarones, and Carnitas.

When I first ordered, I got a taco salad, the delicious, two chicken tacos that were good, but needed more taste, and chesse quesadilla that was amazing. When I ordered the second time, I expect the dam salad. The Tacs this time we are better than last time, and the Quesadillas were not Quesadillas, they tasted like Tacos and Tacos. Apart from that, I recommend Dirigentenplatz!

It's a family run place where the mom and dad run the kitchen and the kids run the front. It's great for ordering pickup. In fact, it's my favorite place to pick up Mexican food to go. Their tortas are great. Tacos are alright. They don't have their full menu all the time. Even average real Mexican food is better than Chipotle or Taco Bell imho. If you want a nice sitdown place, there one like few blocks away but they've lost it and sell entrees pushing $20 or more which is insane.
