We visit this restaurant frequently, and I can’t express enough how much we adore it! Anna, Eddie, and Jessie create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re visiting family. The ground beef empanadas were fantastic and stood out as the best dish. However, the black beans lacked seasoning. The pernil was dry and could have benefited from being juicier. The tostones (green plantains) were also dry and quite thick; they could be improved by making them thinner and crispier. View all feedback.
Great tasting cuban sandwiches and empanadas. Owners/staff were friendly too. Pan con bistec was a miss, but I'd definitely go back again. Great value too.
We recently had an office party and hired Mis Raíces for catering. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how tasty it was and asked where it came from. The service provided by Mis Raíces was excellent - they were quick to respond and very professional. We were so pleased with everything that we will definitely be using their catering services again in the future. Some of the dishes we enjoyed included Chicken in Garlic Sauce, Vegetable Rice, Green Salad, Mini Cuban Sandwiches, and Mini Empanadas. We highly recommend trying their food!
The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I brought my friend from France who had never tried Puerto Rican food before, and he also loved it!
The lunch specials offer generous portions. The empanadas consistently come out fresh and crispy.
