The food here is YUMMY! : This is a “go to” place for Arroz Con Pollo, Rice and Beans, Empanadas, etc. It is authentic Puerto Rican and Cuban cuisine. This was our first pick up since the current COVID pandemic restrictions, but not our first visit ever. We’ve ordered at least two dozen times but realized that I never wrote a review. This time, we ordered Arroz con Pollo (rice with chicken and red beans, Empanadas (our favorites are beef and cheese, chicken and cheese, beef, or plain cheese , alcapurria (a fried fritter filled with yuca and ground beef , and Chicharron de Cerdo (fried pork chunks with rice and gandules. Everything was DELICIOUS, FRESH, and MOIST!! It was the first time we tried alcapurria and I really wished we ordered a bunch instead of one! I didn’t get to take a picture of it because we shared it in the car- it smelled so good and tasted even better! We will definitely return to Mis Raices for more “yummy in the tummy” food!

Our guests couldn't stop... read more We recently had an office party and hired Mis Raíces for catering. The food was incredibly fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how tasty it was and asked where it came from. The service provided by Mis Raíces was excellent - they were quick to respond and very professional. We were so pleased with everything that we will definitely be using their catering services again in the future. Some of the dishes we enjoyed included Chicken in Garlic Sauce, Vegetable Rice, Green Salad, Mini Cuban Sandwiches, and Mini Empanadas. We highly recommend trying their food!

The pernil was dry and could have benefited... read more The ground beef empanadas were fantastic and stood out as the best dish. However, the black beans lacked seasoning. The pernil was dry and could have benefited from being juicier. The tostones (green plantains) were also dry and quite thick; they could be improved by making them thinner and crispier.
