For my first experience at Plowman’s Kitchen, I decided to try the Cheeseburger Club Sandwich, and I was not disappointed! Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The burger allowed you to choose your type of bread on the side, and with the first bite, you could definitely tell the bun was fresh. The club sandwich was among the best I’ve ever had. What Ken dislikes about Plowman's Kitchen:
I waited 25 minutes to be seated, even though the restaurant was only a third full. After that, I had to wait another 20 minutes for tea, which tasted like plain water. We ended up sending it back. There's no reason to pay £2.50 for something that just tasted like water. View all feedback.

I could only manage to eat half of it because they packed so much inside. The bacon was crispy and freshly fried, not that rubbery, microwave kind. I also love how they’ve repurposed the restaurant; it has such a unique charm with band instruments and eclectic decor adorning the walls. The service was excellent, and you can’t beat the prices!
FAR... exceeded our expectations in every way! The restaurant is located in a renovated school band room in an unexpectedly charming area. It's very unique! The locals and staff were incredibly friendly. Despite having a small team, the wait time was minimal. The food was absolutely delicious. This comes from a registered nutritionist with a discerning palate. I regret not taking pictures of our desserts (we had a slice of chocolate buttermilk cake and caramel apple cake).
This is a fantastic spot in Taylor with an interesting backstory. The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. However, I was a bit disappointed that they were out of loaded potatoes and Alfredo sauce for the fettuccine Alfredo. Another minor annoyance was the constant presence of flies, which made it a struggle to keep them away from our food and drinks. Despite these issues, I would definitely come back again.
A group of five of us had lunch here today, it was excellent. Thank you.
Excellent meatloaf and cherry pie ala mode, better than before. Nice server.
