We stumbled on Sunset Cove on the interne... read more My very good friend moved to Connecticut and I'm still in Jersey. Tarrytown is a halfway point for both of us to meet. We stumbled on Sunset Cove on the internet the first time we met up in 2012 and have been coming yearly ever since. The view is wonderful and the food even more so. We always meet early on a weekday so it's always quiet. We've met in the early spring and eaten inside and sometimes later and eaten outside. You can't beat the view and the service. One time we had some kind of lobster crepe and you can't beat the Market Salad. Coming back for a dinner is on our bucket list for sure!

We chose to sit ou... read more On Friday afternoon, my husband and I enjoyed a peaceful lunch at the restaurant. Despite a large party inside, the atmosphere was not noisy. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the delightful views of the river and bridge from the deck. I ordered the raw bar shrimp cocktail, which was delicious and fresh. My husband, who doesn't eat fish, was pleased with his chicken sandwich. We appreciated that we were not rushed and were able to relax and enjoy the sunny afternoon. A great experience overall!
