What Troy Marvin likes about Yama Japanese Cafe Restaurant:
The Yama can be found in the QVB on level 2. The service is extremely friendly and was also quite quick for us. The food is of really good quality, everything tastes excellent, there is also a very good Japanese beer, no excessive prices. The restaurant is definitely recommended and almost all tables were always occupied. View all feedback. What Francisco Weissnat doesn't like about Yama Japanese Cafe Restaurant:
we had the Age-Dashi tofu and matcha battered barramundi for lunch. the portion size for the barramundi was unexpectedly large, but it was really delicious and the price worth the Age-Dashi tofu was also really good, especially the texture and aroma. the texture was very silky and the taste was very good. read moreLocated on the top floor of the QVB in Sydney, this Japanese fusion cafe offers a variety of dishes but has received mixed reviews. Some diners have complained about the slow and inattentive service, as well as the quality of the food such as thick tempura coating and heavy, flabby batter. Others have praised the fresh and delicious sashimi and green tea latte, as well as the beautiful atmosphere and attentive staff. The restaurant also offers a tea time set and a California Don dish, with generous portions of sashimi. Overall, opinions vary on this restaurant, with some recommending it while others advise against visiting.
