Was Jorge Wardaux at Q Dining a mag?
We had the three course lunch yesterday. Initially, we were a little hesitant based on the reviews but it was a fantastic experience. The food was really delicious, prompt and friendly service too. We’ll definitely be back. View all feedback.

What Jarret Buckridge dislikes about Q Dining:
Q Dining is in the entertainment book. We ordered the shrimp with broth for entree and steaks for networks. The steak was very small and the eggplant was usually. I expected a bit more from this restaurant, which is expected in the view of the village and the fine restaurant theme. View all feedback.

This was my first time in Q dining. I did not know what I had expected, and was pleasantly surprised that the room was not too big, which meant we could relax and enjoy our private space between the other tables. Grief Grief The service was exceptional and the staff was very inviting and patient. We were a table of 11 so that you can imagine the never-ending inquiries we had. Our waitress was very attentive and nothing was a problem. Grief Grief The highlight for me was the location, the relaxing atmosphere and the extraordinary service ????????? Food was nice, but for me was not a highlight. Grief Grief I also had a look at the bar above the restaurant, but not more time to sit and drink on this occasion. It's called Hacienda Bar and I love the decor. It has a view of the harbor bridge and has a great atmosphere. I have to add this to my very long list of places to try it.

As far as hotel restaurants go, the food in Q dining was pretty good, though the prices for what they get steep. We had the daily catch, the Ocean Trout in a Buer-Blanc sauce with Capsicum. The fish was beautiful and melting in the mouth. The sauce was a bit too heavy for me, but my friend thought it was good for the fish. We also had the lamb I enjoyed for his taste. However, this court had no sauce, so it was pretty dry. Some saucous element like a Jus really improved the court. The undeniable hero of the night was the Kobe Beef Baver. Perfect means rarely, it was served with foie grass and truffle donations. Only positive raves of those who ordered it. The Quinoa and Freeberh Salad needed more spice, but no bad option for one side. We found that the service was unfortunately a real escape. Our inquiry after a bread refill, with the nduja was going, was with crunching reluctance, as it was a huge inquiries (seriously, what did we want to spread the nduja if it does not come in the first place with crackers or bread? !). We had to constantly ask for our water glasses, as the servers would only fill the glass of the person who had asked without filling the other glasses on the table on the table. The food was really slow - it took about 45 minutes to an hour until our net actually arrived - and one of our orders was missing. The majority of employees were quite unfriendly what an obstacle was. Had not hurt that they actually crack a real smile. Although I thought the food was decent with Q food, the lower score reflects the poor value and the service.

A+ for cuisine and location! Attached to the Pullman at Circular Quay, you'll find the restaurant on the 1st floor, one floor down from the hotel's lobby. Enjoyed the four-course tasting menu which opened with two seafood course: some succulent tuna (after some initial bread), followed by seared scallop. This lead to an amazing wagyu beef main course, full of flavour and well complemented with truffle sauce, accompanied by deliciously prepared mushroom and potato. A chocolate mousse cake wrapped up an impressive meal. It may sound weird, but I can recommend the Pink Lemonade if you are looking for a soft accompaniment to the meal. The portions were well sized, making for a filling (and absolutely satisfying) meal. Staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout. The dining space itself is as artistic as the food, and offers and excellent view over Circular Quay. Definitely a recommendation if you are looking for amazing food, views, and staff!
