We arrived for a quick drink, and ended up staying half the evening! A lovely place to catch up with friends, in an open space, great views, with lovely staff and drinks... and more drinks! The food was AMAZING!!! So much on the plate for the price. Really surprising for Darling Harbour, a welcome surprise! View all feedback.
What Jacquelyn Bins doesn't like about Pontoon Bar:
Came here with two little kids and was told there were no high chairs. The reason we chose this location was because there was a sign out the front advertising that there was lunch under $10, and to feel a family this was very attractive....However we found out that the $10 lunch specials were just 5 or 6 items on the regular menu for $9.90, including things like nuggets and chips. We will not be returning. View all feedback.
My family and I decided to stop in the pontoon bar for lunch after visiting sydney aquarium. that was a big mistake. I went into the bar to order food and drinks and was greeted my a miserable young women who do not laugh or even talk. from this point it was down. 45 minutes after the order of our food came out a meal. another 30 minutes later, 2 more meal times came out and 10 minutes later the remaining 3 meals came out. that eating was all fried and bland, I have no idea how to get fried food wrong, but apparently they can! the two men in the kitchen kitchen (definitiw not cook) seemed more interested in having a good time to serve their customers. the toilets were revolting and dirty and look like they had not cleaned in wash and the toilets lacked toilet seats. my son went to ask for sauce for his meal, and the man in the kitchen did not speak to him, he simply put his hand on to stop him talking. overall our experience was terrible and we will not be back.

It is a Saturday night and darling harbour is busy as usual. the ponton is not yet different, but it seems to be very understated. QR codes could not be used on tables so that the personal went over the attempt to find table numbers of bar personnel... with the number of patrons who were milled around tables. 19.13hr a simple order of 1x parmi, 1x vegetable burger and 1x chicken burger. 19.30 clock first was the plant-based burger who was delicious, although pommes was missing as part. 19.35hs parmi arrived, which was tasty with good portions. 19,50 hours after we asked three employees for the rest of the order, and no one returns to answer that we almost gave up. also a worker tried to give us food for order 89, while our states 49. it was a challenge to explain to the employee who said it was their first day. 19.53hrs advised that the kitchen made a mistake. with a
