This Rating based on invite.<br/ Came here with one of Sydney famous food blogger, Simon Leong for lunch<br/ <br/ Venue: <br/ 261 George street basement , just steps always from MetCentre building toward to Jamison Street.<br/ <br/ Service:<br/ Dedicated passionate professional team working during lunch.<br/ Shaker, Chef Owner guide us through the menu and story behind the Grand Pavilion.<br/ <br/ Food Drink:<br/ <br/ Papadum with 3 condiment to start with, <br/ Date chutney, mint sauce also yoghurt honey.<br/ My Fave is mint sauce, with a refreshing taste and a little hint of chilli on the back ground. <br/ <br/ We had a kingfisher tap beer it was a light easy drinking lager beer. It was ok for me but maybe not everyone cup of tea, or beer I would say<br/ <br/ Cauliflower Bezule:<br/ Street snack from the coast.<br/ Love this entree, crisp texture, and flavour was on point. The only suggestion is that can be done more crunchier.<br/ <br/ Barramundi was marinated with some aromatic herbs and spices, wrapped in banana leaves.<br/ Fish was perfumes beautifully and so delicate.<br/ <br/ Lamb cutlets:<br/ It was the winner!<br/ Marinated in yoghurt and tumeric, colour was so vibrant and yoghurt was tenderizing the meat, so when you eat this cutlet, no cutlery-needed, basically meat just falls of the bone when you sink your teeth into it.<br/ <br/ Naan Bread:<br/ This was one of the best I’ve tried. Even after sitting in the table for 5 minutes it still soft in texture.<br/ It’s a must to have when you order curry, to soaked all the beautiful sauce.<br/ <br/ Butter Chicken:<br/ Chicken thigh was so tender and marinated beautifully.<br/ rich thick butter chicken gravy was very well balanced.<br/ Ideally this dish enjoy together with the naan, but I don’t mind also their version on coconut rice.<br/ <br/ Goat Curry:<br/ Even though goat is not my number 1 choice of protein, still I have to admit that meat was soft and tender.<br/ Lemon rice as a side dish was jam packed full of flavour.<br/ Zesty tangy lemon and I’m guessing tumeric also used for this dish, was a perfect match with the curry.<br/ <br/ Biryani:<br/ Chef come to our table to served this dish.<br/ Shaker and his manager, wants us to experience the authentic biryani experience.<br/ Biryani was perfumed with some herbs spices. <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/

This Indian restaurant is definitely one of the best. We started off with Hariyali Murgh Tikka, Kadak Mirchi Prawn, and Fish Tikka for starters, and Nellore Chapala Pulusu with Roti and Naan for our main course. Every dish was incredibly tasty and flavorful, with the fish and chicken being particularly tender and fresh, beautifully marinated and cooked with a perfect blend of spices and herbs. The service was exceptional and the staff were attentive.

I have dined at this restaurant for lunch multiple times, and each time has been a positive experience. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the excellent selection of vegetarian options available. The service is fantastic, with polite and friendly staff ensuring our food is delivered promptly. The Daal Tadka is consistently delicious, and I have also enjoyed trying many of the paneer dishes, all of which were very tasty. Overall, the food is great and I highly recommend this restaurant.

During our first visit, the food was excellent and the service was impeccable. The restaurant was not very crowded, allowing for a more personal dining experience. However, our second visit was disappointing as the restaurant was packed and the service was chaotic. The food did not meet our expectations and the overall atmosphere had changed. We learned that the staff work different shifts on different days, which led to inconsistency in the quality of food and service. Despite this inconsistency, I would still recommend this restaurant for its stunning decor. It has good ratings and may provide a unique dining experience for you. If you find yourself in Sydney craving Indian food, this restaurant is a must-visit.

The food at the restaurant is always great, I have been to this restaurant few times now and have ordered multiple items from the menu. The only thing that disappoints me is they never have my reservation which I make through The Frok and when paying they dont bother checking if I have discount from The Fork, I had paid full amout couple of time and when I informed the staff that I had mentioned I have discount as I walked in, they said I should have reminded them, which make me felt they were trying their best to get full amount and other time I had to remind them of discount to get it which shouldn't be the case. But overall its great food
