The good... read more Mövenpick might has changed its ownership as I noticed different regular staff running the sweet bar, as well as the Chinese writings all over the ads. The good thing about this is, they give out good deals for desserts. We ordered fondue for 2 and a set of strawberry pancakes for the price of $26.95. So basically, you only have you pay for the more expensive dessert. Melted chocolate with candle as burner, cannot go wrong with anything. The pancakes taste average but they come with ice cream and fruit so our sweet tooth is satisfied. In term of ice cream, you just gotta discover then through many trials. My favourite so far would be stracciatella, which is a milk-based ice cream combined with chocolate pieces. An Italian classic, so delicious! Oh, the vanilla brownie is good as well!

The rest of the dessert mostly taste like it's been prepared and reheated.We did have the chocolate lava cake today which wasn't bad as the cake itself was quite soft. Not sure it's worth the price tag though

The common Swiss chocolate is also worth a try, but was a little sweet for my liking. Big servings, amazing service and well priced. Will be back !

On a quieter day, I decided to try their Espresso and Salted Caramel ice cream while my friend opted for a Cappuccino Thickshake. I absolutely loved the Espresso flavor; it was robust and hit the spot for my coffee craving. The Salted Caramel was also fantastic, as salted caramel always tends to be. However, I found the Cappuccino Thickshake to be less impressive. It could have been my friend's poor choice in flavor, but I couldn't quite tell if the ice cream itself wasn't great or if it simply didn't work as a milkshake. Nonetheless, I'm eager to return and sample more flavors.
