What downsyknowsgoodfood doesn't like about Metropolitan Hotel:
Food: Slightly below average. Nothing special. Service: Where do I start. A number of my colleagues were left waiting over an hour for their lunch. With one in particular forced to receive a refund after an 80 minute wait for a simple pie. We also asked multiple times where our food was and the staff never gave an update. Ambience: nothing here in terms of vibe/music. I can’t imagine a reason for ever returning to th... View all feedback. What Rudy Ille likes about Metropolitan Hotel:
Just reopened, fresh paint, carpet and attitude. Really friendly, quiet enough to hear each other talk, simple food menu, cold beer. I suspect this will become a favourite for many an after work ale. Recommended. View all feedback.

read moreThe Metropolitan Hotel offers a rooftop bar experience in Sydney that is worth the climb up the stairs. The food is described as average pub fare, but the drinks are well-priced. The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. The venue also hosts a variety of events like speed dating and improv theater workshops. Overall, the Metropolitan Hotel is a casual and welcoming spot for a drink or meal with friends or colleagues.
