Good food, we all enjoyed it. But the service was terrible. I went with 4 family members (all over 70 years old). There were two waitresses working on that evening. Both of them took the desserts out together. The taller waitress was trying to put the plate in front of my aunt but my aunt wasn't aware she was standing next to her. So the waitress said: "excuse me, excuse me" - aunt didn't hear it due to her bad hearing, so the waitress yelled at her "hello!!!". We couldn't believe what we heard. Before that we tried to ignore her rudeness and inpatient customer service such as rolling her eyes while my uncles asked her how many sides do you think we need for the table. Plus she said "what do you really want" to me when I tried to change how I like the steak cooked while she was still taking my order. We would like to go back again for the food but with that type of service, no thank you.
The food was good, but the service was average/not present. we came here on Wednesday night. the restaurant had less than 10 people. I was shown to my table and ignored all night. if we order a menu, a drink, eat (or something) we had to go down a waitress. we found this really strange service, as it looked like a nice restaurant and there was easily a waitress per table. the food itself was delicious and large portions. when paying the bill, the waitress asked us to give her a tipp. I hate to be asked, especially if they didn't come into us all night. everyone on our table felt uncomfortable with this request, but we left a tip and left.
Terrible service, rude staff, bad food. possibier the worst restaurant that I decided in sydney to try this place after I saw that it had a good rating on google and wanted to try something new for my date night. we have reserved, and when we arrived there, we saw that the restaurant is more than 2/3 empty on a Saturday night. that should have been our sign to go, but we were deceived by the fake reviews of this restaurant, so we decided to stay. a woman answered us at the door, but not even bothered us to go to our places. when we sat, she hadn't even told 2 words and immediately, as we still try to sit, she asks what she wants for drinks then she grabbed the...read more
I'm in love!. The service is fantastic, the wines extensive and the chefs really know how to consistently give their customers a seventh heaven experience. The barramundi is a favourite and a must try, the ravioli was delicious. The desserts are something of an obsession for me the times I've been... they used to have fresh chocolate truffles (yum! I would suggest the dessert tasting plate where you can experience an affordable one of each ; I think for only $18.As a warning, everything especially the wines they don't do BYO are a bit on the pricey side. I have to say though, it's definitely worth saving your pennies for.
