The best traditional Japanese restaurant in Sydney. It is a trusting, reliable option that has been a bit of an institution for decades. Everything's delicious. Would recommend the sashimi (there is a daily menu and Sashimi boats) and lunch Bento boxes (order before Friday and skip the queue/wait). View all feedback.

read moreLocated in the Sydney CBD, this Japanese restaurant offers an array of delicious dishes. The sushi platters are a highlight, with the aburi sushi platter being a crowd favorite. The salmon is noted for its buttery texture, while the teriyaki salmon dish could use some improvement in portion size. The fresh sashimi boat is a must-try, with seafood that melts in your mouth. The attentive service ensures a pleasant dining experience, although some mention feeling slightly rushed at times. The fusion of Japanese flavors and attentive service make this restaurant a great choice for a night out.
