We celebrated our daughter birthday at Machiavelli on Saturday evening. The service, the atmosphere and of course the food was outstanding. The staff had the perfect blend of service without hovering, I never need to touch our bottle of excellent Italian wine the staff simply looked after that. The food was amazing, beautifully fresh ingredients professionally prepared and presented. Our daughter being a vegetarian can find her meals to be a little bland not so at Machiavelli her meal as every bit as tasty as ours were. I recommend Machiavelli to all lovers of fine Italian food and wine.

The place is large and busy for lunch. The calamari was good but the duck was dry which was disappointing. Felt it would have been better to order the fish or a pasta. Hope to try that next time around.
