Like others, I came here on a voucher. For what I paid I was very pleased. Would definitely come again on a voucher but not if I was paying the full amount. The obvious pluses are the service, atmosphere and view. It is hard not to have a pleasant time while here. Nothing wrong with the food. It was good but not memorable. I think for the prices charged there are probably other Sydney restaurants to consider. But if... View all feedback.
What Dariana Nolan doesn't like about Jpb:
we came for a 'Christmas in July ' dinner last week on a Groupon special and I have learnt my lesson...you get what you pay for. We waited 45 minutes for the food which was brought out all at once on a piece of slate. Portions were minute and were eaten from bread and butter plates. The salad was basic to say the least with mayonnaise squirted all over it. There was no Christmas atmosphere at all just generic music b... View all feedback.
Weine not available, some workers were rude, some elements of the plate undercooked, ordered the beeteroot with goat cheese and there was less than a hahn of goat cheese on the plate
We were very excited to go here. at last! from the beginning we knew that it will be “one of these nights”. the service was not well maintained for 20 minutes for drinks. a drink that was a wodka limette and soda was served with no eis! the table was not even set, no p or glasses! no candle that makes the ambiente of the place. we had 4 different waiters asking the same. obviously there is no opposite to look. oysters didn't serve a dish and nothing to eat! we also needed a spoon to serve the sauce for the oysters, with the waitress came with a spoon! my quality, the list goes on! we have not ordered any main meal we left! will not go...read more
Good place and friendly staff. we ordered the pigs share plate and in all honesty, I did not feel that it was cooked slowly (as described in the menu). it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great for the price.
One of the biggest served of cream brûlée that I’ve try. Serve in the shallow big bowl, garnished with the biggest and thickest short bread, strawberry and blue berries combo and some micro herbs. See picture below, and tell me if my opinion is wrong
I went to JPB restaurant after seeing a deal on Dimmi for 50% off food. My friend and I chose the Scotch fillet steak as mains with Hiramasa kingfish and Pork belly as the entrees. The scotch fillet with pepper berry beef jus was pretty nice and juicy, well seasoned and both entrees were surprisingly good. The waitress we had was very attentive. Would recommend!
