What Kenneth Simonis likes about GPO Pizza by Wood:
Recommended to us as the best pizza in Sydney' from our close and reliable Sydney peeps, so expectations were sky high. We were not disappointed! Their pizzas were pretty amazing... would recommend Spagnola (small) Tomato Base, Mozzarella, Chorizo, Spanish Onion, Basil and Chilli. Prosciutto Funghi (small) View all feedback. What Jarvis Kunze doesn't like about GPO Pizza by Wood:
Lovely atmosphere and great location. The pizza was nice but nothing to rave about. I shared a large pizza with a friend and we were still pretty hungry afterwards when normally a large pizza would fill us both up. Really lovely venue though. View all feedback.

Solid, friendly, quick pizza The Caprese Pizza is excellent.

read moreA stylish and trendy pizza place located in the historic GPO building in Sydney is the talk of the town. With recommendations from local foodies, the expectations were high, and Wood fired Pizza did not disappoint. The Spagnola and Prosciutto Funghi pizzas come highly recommended, but others felt that the Napoli was lacking in flavor. The thin crust pizzas are a standout feature, with the flavors of Italy shining through in each bite. The atmosphere is lovely, with a mix of modern and historical elements, creating a unique dining experience. Overall, Wood fired Pizza offers a delicious pizza experience in a beautiful setting, perfect for a casual meal in the city.
