Feedback
Was Anonym at Contrabando a mag?
The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. The food was decent, but the guacamole was definitely the highlight. If I returned, it would be for drinks and snacks rather than a full dinner. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Contrabando:
Service was friendly but inefficient, drinks arrived midway through our email. The lamb was dry and chewy. Tacos were excellent. Fun place if you don’t expect too much. View all feedback.
First vist and will be back There was quite a large group of us and we ordered the Express lunch menu courses for Amazing value. The dishes came out one by one and were they stunning. So delicious and a good mix of...food. everyone at the table was so impressed Our waitress was happy friendly and cleared our empty plates promply as she brough out the next course
We ended up in Contrabando when we couldn't get a table at a nearby cafe and we're lucky we did. The food is delicious with options to share or have by yourself. We didn't have the express lunch, but it's great value. The grilled...corn was amazing and I loved the fish tacos. Good amount of options for gluten free or vegetarian diners. Decor is stylish and there's plenty of room inside with some outdoor seating as well. Several beers on tap and wines by the glass.
Food was good, had a cheap taco deal on and we’re great with gluten free options. Our waitress was super rude and sassy had a generally unfriendly vibe but would recommend going for a fish taco!
We couldn’t do the all you can eat tacos because we wanted to go in for dinner and drinks on the Friday night, but the reviews and pics were good so we went anyways! We were a hungry group of 6 and could not make up our minds so we went with the Mexicola set menu. I would definitely recommend ordering the truck stop guac, chargrilled corn and fish tacos! Cheeseburger spring rolls was a fun try however not a must try. The churros was definitely unique, never had churros like this but it tasted amazing with the caramel sauce. Definitely would come back to try other dishes.
I highly recommend the fish tacos at this restaurant! The fish was incredibly crispy and paired perfectly with a variety of sauces. If you visit on Tuesdays, you can enjoy an amazing deal with $3 tacos, or opt for the all-you-can-eat taco option, making it a fantastic and affordable feast!
