I often visit Bole for lunch on Sundays (with my mum). Enjoy their menu selection, especially the Asian soups. Very good coffee (a must for me)
Great food and cheerful staff make for a wonderful experience at Cafe Porco (whose name is a cute, tongue-in-cheek reference to the head chef's love for the Studio Ghibli character, Porco Rosso . The katsu sandwich is highly recommended (it's huge! , as well as the omurice. Just note that the cafe is closed on Mondays, and open late from Thursday to Saturday.
The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere, with a fantastic selection of Japanese-inspired dishes on the menu. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the coffee was excellent as well. A must-visit cafe, and I will definitely be returning.
How often do you wake up randomly select cafe on Zomato? That's my weekend, I love stumbling upon foodie eats that surprises me every time!<br/ <br/ Cafe Porco just did that! Seafood Pasta is cooked to perfection. Beautiful texture and flavors!<br/ <br/ Omnu rice with Wagyu Beef Gravy is something different I thoroughly enjoyed this new take.<br/ <br/ Pork Katsu Sando is perhaps the best I've eaten in Sydney. Lightly fried, retaining the juiciness of the pork. The sauce is well balanced.<br/ <br/ Well done Cafe Porco, I'm definitely coming back for more!
This modest Japanese cafe is simply decorated and more focused on practicality than atmosphere. I was impressed by the unique design of the coffee cup and saucer - the bottom of the cup has a concave hole, and the saucer curves up with a spike that fits neatly under the cup to prevent it from moving. The coffee itself tasted fine. The matcha French Toast was decent, although I would have preferred it without the red beans. The flowers on the toast were probably better off left as decorations.
