The food was delightful; it wasn't pretentious or extraordinary, but it was definitely high quality. We both enjoyed the scallops as our appetizer, which were excellent. Although the wine list was limited, our waiter recommended a fantastic option that wasn't on the list. Unfortunately, after our meal, the cab we reserved didn't arrive, and at around 9:45 pm, walking back to our hotel seemed daunting. We were pleasantly surprised when our waiter offered to drive us back himself! This level of service was truly remarkable. While the atmosphere may be old-fashioned, so is their commitment to excellent service, which we found refreshing. Personal, attentive service is something that can often be lacking in more modern restaurants!

The service is wonderfully traditional, and the menu is fantastic, particularly the extensive selection of fresh seafood and desserts. I once witnessed them asking a celebrity (who used to host a gardening show on TV) to leave due to their loud and inappropriate behavior, which was quite impressive to see.
