Sushi Hotaru - Sydney
Sushi Hotaru
Description
The restaurant offers a good selection of sushi rolls, lunch boxes, and hot bowls. The staff is accommodating and flexible, allowing customers to make changes to their orders. While the rolls are slightly under seasoned and not as tasty as other sushi places, the hot selection is worth trying. Some customers find the sushi average and nothing special, but Japanese curries are highly recommended for the value. Hand rolls are described as fresh, tasty, and well-priced. The spicy chicken dish is particularly recommended, especially when prices drop close to closing time. The teriyaki chicken salad is also praised as fresh and delicious. However, some customers find the food to be hit or miss, with sushi quality and value declining over the years.

Took advantage of an afternoon special of two sushi rolls for $5. Reasonable quality for a quick, cheap snack in the city. Located on Bathurst Street.
A good selection of sushi rolls, lunch box, and hot bowls. Staff are very accommodating and flexible. (They allowed me to change my order and swap rolls). The rolls are slightly under seasoned and not as good as Hero sushi or sushi hub. I will try the hot selection next time. thernbdiary.com
Was just walking past and feeling peckish, so I grabbed a couple of rolls to go. Hand rolls here are fresh and tasty, with a wide variety and great price. Glad I discovered the place.
