What Nellie Gutkowski likes about Naughty Chef:
the homemade spring rolls that go with the fresh Vermicelli salad are delicious. it is a great part, cheap and great value for money. it is a casual restaurant that seems to be family-run with refreshing and authentic Vietnamese vegetarian spits in a hipster area. I only got takeaway pho from here once last month. One particular spice tasted really over-powering in the broth but I couldn't put my finger on it which one it was, it might be star anise. For that reason the soup didn't taste goos to me. I definitely had better and cheaper pho elsewhere in Chinatown and Wynyard.

read moreThis Vietnamese restaurant has consistently served fresh and tasty dishes, making it a popular spot for both lunch and quick dinners. The pho dishes are clean and well-prepared, although some found them to be average in taste. The seafood laksa was noted for its freshness and reasonable price, despite some issues with the noodles. The crispy skin chicken and vegetable pho received high praise for its delicious flavors and generous portions. The broken rice and vegetarian options were also recommended for those looking for a quick and satisfying meal. Despite some minor complaints about insects and limited hours, the overall consensus is that this restaurant offers great Vietnamese food at affordable prices with speedy service.
