What Fredy Franecki doesn't like about Alchemy:
Well now I know why Polish food hasn't made it to the mainstream.. Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's a problem with the food here, I'm sure the chef followed the recipe and it's an age old one at that, but I don't think I like polish food.
The place is run by a lovely old polish couple, really friendly, great service, that was a plus.
I tried the signature dish, the dumplings (got the 6 variety pack ) - it w... View all feedback. What Jared Von likes about Alchemy:
My first time here and I highly enjoyed it. Beautiful food with generous servings, the rhubarb pie I had for dessert was huge! Nice atmosphere with service that was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. It was my first time trying Polish food and will definitely be back. Well done. View all feedback.

read moreThis quaint cafe and restaurant in Sydney offers an authentic Polish dining experience, complete with traditional dishes like pierogi, dumplings, and duck with oranges. While some found the food to be a bit bland or oily, others raved about the delicious flavors and generous portions. The charming atmosphere, friendly service, and variety of homemade cakes make it a lovely spot for coffee or a meal. Some guests did mention issues with the accuracy of their bills and time restrictions on bookings, but overall, Alchemy seems to be a hidden gem for those seeking a taste of Poland Down Under. Whether you're craving a cozy dinner or a special celebration, this spot offers a unique culinary journey that's worth a visit.
