I called to ask t... read more **WARNING: THE WORST BAKERY EVER!!!** I ordered the Mom's Four Layer Coconut Cake, and I can honestly say it was the worst cake I've ever had. I called to ask them to pick it up and for a refund. I was told that I'm used to processed foods and that's why I didn't like it, as if that justified the experience. The description claims it's supposed to be light, but it was incredibly dense. I was initially promised a refund of half of my $44 bill, but I only received $16 back. Overall, my experience with both the customer service and the product itself was extremely disappointing.

Specifically, my brother lives in Sumter, SC, and I was looking for a local bakery to order a birthday cake for him. Carasmatic Creations was just the right choice. They have a great selection of cakes, and I opted for a nut-free carrot cake, which is my brother's favorite. The added benefit of free delivery, being a local business, made it even better. Choosing a freshly made cake from scratch rather than something rushed and shipped from the West Coast is a clear winner. There was a small issue with their new website, but Carasmatic Creations reached out to me quickly and resolved it without any hassle. I will definitely be using them from now on.

Carrot cake no nuts is his favorite and I ordered it to be delivered locally (for free! There was a slight glitch with the website but CC contacted me promptly and handled the issue right away. Made to order cake from scratch vs rush shipped from California? No contest, I'll be using them from here on out.
