Contribute Feedback What Bobbie Dicki doesn't like about The Witch's Cauldron:
The Witch's cauldron is wayyy overrated! When we arrived I was seriously underwhelmed. It needs a serious renovation, the decor is extremely dated and the price point is pretty ridiculous to be honest. The food was ok but definitely not worth the price. Service was very good which is the reason this rating wasn't lower! View all feedback.

I finally went to this restaurant after wanting to go for ages! Needless to say I was very underwhelmed. The place itself is quite shabby and needs a facelift. The menu has quite a good variety but $49 for a main of prawns with a less than impressive salad is quite a stretch. The prawns tasted good but not a stand out. The beetroot risotto was okay but definitely not full of flavour. I could hardly taste the beetroot. The sorbet had no position on the plate and did not contribute to the dish. The foam was probably the best part about the whole dish. The staff were however accommodating with serving a smaller portion for myself. They are friendly and good at their jobs. I believe the Witch's Cauldron is extremely over-rated and would not recommend it for anyone who does not have an entertainment book discount.
Very ordinary say no more actually a rip off $46 for a tiny medallion of so called steak and soggy garlic bread. Grab a Kebab in Subi. Shame WC is not up to scratch anymore as was an icon.
Came here for dinner with an entertainment guide voucher. Has to be the worst service I have had in a long time especially for the price you pay to eat there. We had to wait 15 minutes to order drinks and it was difficult to gain attention from the waitress the entire night. The wait for food was acceptable and the food was very very good. Wouldn't rate the garlic prawns as the best prawns in Perth but still tasty. We also ordered a shiraz however suspiciously looked like a pinot noir. Upon questioning the waitress said that the light colour was due to the wine being the "cheapest" on the menu however it was one of the more expensive selections. The stand out moment was when the waitress spilt food into my glass of water and failed to bring out a new one or apologise. At least we could have a joke about it and still have a good night but would not recommend if you are after good service!
I am sorry to say that after dinner this Saturday I will not be coming back to the Witches Cauldron again which is such a shame as it has been our favorite place to go for dinner for years. Service, although friendly was lacking, menus were left on our table food given at varying times and had to go inside to ask for further drinks. The food itself was very disappointing with one of my scallops not cooked at all! The meals came out at varying times finishing my meal before my husbands meal came out and our shared entree was more of a slow conveyor belt of food with the prawns coming out (overcooked!) then once we had finished them and waiting a further 15mins my 3 oysters came out with the fritters. After finishing this we were asked if our garlic prawns had come out yet or not. Spending $250 on a night out that was in the end a great disappointment. Such a shame.
