The bathroom in our room was outdated, and the wallpaper was held down in the corners with nails. To my surprise, there was no soap or handwash available. The bar and restaurant were crowded due to a football match, which was a bit frustrating because we were seated in a small booth with groups standing around us while we ate, and they kept placing their glasses on our table. The food was enjoyable, and the staff were excellent; however, the room rates felt high considering the quality and condition of the accommodations.

The restaurant is on the expensive side for food that is fairly average. While it's not terrible by any stretch, I think the prices are a bit high. I’m gutted I missed out but if... read more We stayed here while in Stonehaven. I found out on our last day that if I had asked, I could have had gf pancakes for breakfast. I’m gutted I missed out but if you are staying here, then ask about gf pancakes for breakfast! Their dinner menu has some gf options which included sizzling chicken. I didn’t get to try this but it sounded good! (we were here to see friends so mostly ate with them). GF bread/toast was available for breakfast.
