Led by head chef and owner Andy Smart, our aim is to provide a welcoming and relaxed environment for all guests. We welcome dogs too, with treats and water bowls available. The Stack offers a fantastic food experience with quick service, despite some issues with timeliness. Dishes like Manchego croquettes, Cullen skink, and pumpkin tortilla are exceptional. Vegetarians will be impressed with their options. The restaurant is family-friendly, with a varied menu catering to all diets. The scallops are a must-try, with deliciously cooked fish and vegetables. The dining area may lack warmth in decor, but the overall experience at The Stack is positive. The extensive menu, friendly service, and delicious food make this hidden gem in Muchals worth a visit for a memorable dining experience.
It’s been a while since I’ve tasted a plate of food and thought wow, but that is exactly what I done when I tasted the BBQ Monkfish in the crab and ginger bisque. Popping with flavour. Superb. Also had a taste of the BBQ lamb it it was perfect. After just moving the the area, we think the stack has become our family’s go to when ever we fancy a treat. Service: Dine in

We had a wonderful family Saturday lunch here the food was absolutely incredible, and the service was fantastic. I’d made a note when booking that we’d be bringing our 9 month old baby not only was a high chair already set up when we arrived, they also went to the trouble to lay out her own cutlery and cup (which she very much enjoyed playing with! . We’ll definitely be back!
