Menu

On this webpage, you will find the complete menu of Killin from Stirling. Currently, there are 45 dishes and drinks available.

Nestled by the river, Killin Hotel offers a mix of traditional and contemporary cuisine. Many patrons praise the delightful outdoor seating and expansive views, particularly on sunny days. The menu shines with highlights like the tender BBQ pork ribs and substantial vegan options, pleasing diverse palates. However, a pattern of inconsistent service and a complicated ordering system detracts from the experience. Visitors have noted the staff’s friendliness but report feeling neglected due to overwhelming workloads. While the flavorful dishes impress, improvements in service and communication could elevate the dining experience to new heights.

Was User at Killin a mag?
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the waiter/bartender, Mateus, was fantastic. Although they were a bit understaffed, he served our food and drinks with a smile. I would definitely recommend this place! View all feedback.

What gillsimpson10 dislikes about Killin:
A cold, miserable Saturday with nowhere else open for lunch. Very busy so service was a bit slow but the salmon platter was wonderful. Large portion well presented with care for the food. We ate in the cafe bit but it was fine. Exceptional value. Thankyou View all feedback.

Just brilliant. Loads of space and outdoor deserting is by the river. Dog friendly. Staff just lovely and food delicious. The place to eat in Killin!!

Booked here for Friday dinner. On arrival we were met by a pretty unenthusiastic member of staff who showed us to our table. We were seated in the conservatory area which, although having a lovely view of the river, was more reminiscent of a nursing home, totally lacking in atmosphere. Starters were pretty average and we ordered Streak Ale pie and Venison Stew as mains. The steak pie was pretty tasteless, with a watery gravy and my partners stew was again pretty tasteless and watery to the point that she had to ask for a spoon to eat it. The sticky toffee pudding dessert wasn’t as good as a shop bought one from Morrisons. There’s a general lack of enthusiasm from staff and I must say that those working in the restaurant were extremely scruffy and appeared to have no idea how to work an iron. I was pretty disappointed with this place and I really wouldn’t recommend it. I certainly won’t be returning.

We had a wonderful time over the Easter weekend at this charming restaurant and event venue. A group of 37 of us enjoyed a delicious three-course dinner prepared by a talented chef in a beautiful dining room. The Chicken Balmoral was a standout dish. After dinner, we were entertained by the band of Duncan and Jock who provided lively music for a Ceilidh, with help from friendly locals. Overall, it was a fantastic evening and we want to thank Prachi and the team at this lovely old hotel for their hospitality.

Our first trip, for just drinks outside (albeit a bit of a wait for service) at the end of May, was nice. At the beginning of July we decided to have a quick lunch, during our limited lunch break and have ordered three sandwiches (ciabatta...
