Killin - Stirling

We enjoyed drinks and dinner at the Killin Hotel. Was busy that night, and had a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was fantastic!

Really lovely meals, good vegan options, excellent friendly service, conservatory-style eating area with cool lights and furniture, and views of the evening sunset turning the hills red- perfect

Called to book for dinner and while on phone said 1 person in party was gluten free and was told not a problem. Went along for dinner to be told no bread for gluten free burger then said we will just have burger without bread only to be told chef did not want to make it as he did not have the bread. I did ask what else is gluten free and told apart from the steak nothing. Who did i call at first saying gluten free was ok. So if your on a special diet do not come here seems they are not equiped for dietary requests and most of all cannot be bothered cooking it

We were staying locally and had dined here pre covid so thought we would go again….mistake Service was awful Not great for dietary requirements It would appear the staff are really unhappy. It’s brilliant they are providing shelter but their business is suffering
