Scoops Ice Cream - Steinhatchee
Scoops Ice Cream
Description
**Restaurant Review: Steinhatchee Scoops - A Sweet Retreat with a Few Bumps**
Nestled in Steinhatchee, Steinhatchee Scoops offers a limited yet delightful selection of homemade ice cream that's rich and creamy. While the flavors delight customers, notably the banana pudding and key lime cheesecake, the service has drawn mixed reviews, with some patrons expressing concerns about the owner's approach towards differing opinions. Despite these hiccups, the establishment remains a cherished stop for visitors seeking quality ice cream. Its small-town charm and enthusiastic staff create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that, despite challenges, the ice cream remains a highlight for many on their journeys.

The restaurant wasn't open during the hours they advertised. When I called to inquire about their opening status, I was greeted with a rude response.
This is a fantastic family-run business! The ice cream is absolutely amazing—rich and creamy with incredible fruit flavors. I especially loved the banana pudding, which had delicious chunks of cookie in it!
This message is aimed at the owner, who I assume sees himself as a Christian and is aware of this review. It doesn't matter how long you or your family has lived in this town; you cannot speak to people like that simply because you disagree with them. This is America—people have the right to express themselves however they choose, even if that means wearing cones on their heads. You don’t have to like it, but it's their right. What you did is unacceptable. Customers are just visiting your establishment, and there's no justification for treating them with such disdain because of differing opinions. I’ve lived in Florida my entire life and have been visiting Steinhatchee for over 20 years. I will ensure that no one I know will ever patronize your restaurant again. I will also share this review on every food app available. No matter how good your ice cream may be, character matters.
Unquestionably 5 Stars!!! We had the Key Lime Cheesecake and Banana Pudding. Very creamy, tastes phenomenal and they are enthusiastic about what they make! Through all of my travels across the county, this is the best ice cream I've tried.
Found this gem on a trip and it is hands down the best ice cream I've ever had. Super creamy and home made. Small selection of flavors, but it's fresh. I had banana pudding which is amazing!! I just got the publix version and it's awful after trying Steinhatchee Scoops. The cookies and cream is really yummy as well. Wish I didn't live so far away.
