Who Dat Grill - Steinhatchee
Who Dat Grill
Description
Perched on the river with boat access and ample parking, this casual riverside eatery offers scenic views, friendly servers, and some standout dishes (fried pickles, grouper sandwich). Guest experiences vary widely: attentive, talented servers and tasty meals contrast with slow service, kitchen mistakes, and occasionally dry or salty dishes. Family-friendly and lively, the place has clear potential but needs more consistent staffing and kitchen execution to match its waterfront charm.

Meal Type: Lunch Price Range: $10–$20 Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Recommended Dish: Grouper Sandwich I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch, and it was a delightful experience. The food was impressive, earning a solid 4 out of 5, with the standout dish being the Grouper Sandwich—definitely a must-try! The service was equally commendable, also rated at 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, making it a great spot for a midday meal. Overall, I highly recommend checking it out!
The staff here is incredibly friendly, and they serve up delicious, well-prepared meals. The restaurant offers fantastic views and ample parking available. We dined in for lunch, and the price per person ranged from $10 to $20. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the fried pickles!
The service was outstanding, definitely a 10/10—it's the best we've experienced at any restaurant in the last ten years. I wish every server were like her! I can’t remember her name, but she was blonde and mentioned having a four-year-old son (just in case the owners are paying attention). The food was quite good overall; however, the blackened seasoning was a bit too salty. Nonetheless, we were pleased with our decision to eat here. Rating breakdown: Food: 4, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4.
Service was absolutely 10/10, best service we have had at any restaurant in at least a decade. Wish all servers were like her. Don’t recall her name but she was blonde and had a 4 year old son (if owners are listening.)Food was pretty darn good. Blackened seasoning was way too salty but the rest of the food was good.Glad we stopped here.
The waitstaff were very friendly, but the kitchen really struggled to get our food orders right. We waited patiently for more than an hour for our appetizers. A friend had warned us about the place, but we decided to give it a try anyway. We won’t be coming back until the ownership changes, which I doubt will be long from now.
