Honestly not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. When a friend and I stopped by Rodeo 39 we were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of food options. This place caught our eye cause who doesn't love pasta and they had ample customization options. We decided on the pork belly carbonara. I thought it was good. Standard, creamy white sauce with ground pepper, green herbs, and pieces of pork belly scattered throughout. The pork belly could definitely be more tender. I like Rodeo 39 for it's large open dining space. There's a lot of tables for you to sit at. Especially like the open patio area for sunny California days.
I really wanted to try this place. It's unfortunate that the employees are to busy ignoring the fact that they have customers. I didn't just go to the cashier once but twice. Even shouted hello! But nothing. Let's get it together people.
It was alright. The Mac n cheese tasted undercooked a bit, it had A TON of cheese. I couldn’t eat it all by myself. I was craving some pasta or macaroni, but it wasn’t what I was going for. Not the best. Not the worst
The 25 minute wait for a terrible pork belly carbonara is not cool. There was no flavor in the sauce other than the heap load of salt they added. My food appeared to look like carbonara but actually had no taste, and was so salty it gave me headaches after a few bites. Had to trash the food, what a waste food and money. Would not recommend.
Savory, delicious spot. Moderate wait time and decent customer service. The Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese is super BUSS! For me, the portion is enough for 2 people. The mac n cheese was creamy. The buffalo sauce had a tingly kick to it. This location is in Rodeo 39; Rodeo 39 is often busy, so it can be hard to find parking. Pictured: Buffalo Chicken Mac N Cheese
