The hostess disappeared for 15 20 mins. We had 7:30 reservations and were not seated until 8 even though there were plenty of open tables. It took well over an... read more The hostess disappeared for 15 20 mins. We had 7:30 reservations and were not seated until 8 even though there were plenty of open tables. It took well over an hour to receive our food they were 'very busy ', no they weren 't. We finished our drinks long before any of our food arrived. When i asked for a refillon my diet coke i was told they didn 't do free refills. I would have thought that since they kept apologizing for how long things were taking even though we didn 't ask or complsin, they could have given me a free refill. The food was delicious though, but the length of time to receive it and the lack of a top up on my drink means we won 't be back.

Although the menu prices have increased over time, they still offer affordable, authentic Japanese food. I have been a loyal customer for years and wish I lived closer so I could dine there more often. I will always make a point to eat at Mitsuyoshi whenever I have the opportunity.

The slow service caused some patrons to consider leaving due to the excessive wait times. In addition to the poor service, the food is mediocre and overpriced for the quality.
