I had a very disappointing experience with Indus Eatery today. After a long day at work, I picked up a chicken biryani from the restaurant, as there weren’t many places open at the time and I was starving. Unfortunately, the food was in terrible condition. It had a foul smell and clear signs of spoilage. It was also served cold. It’s unacceptable for any restaurant to serve food that is potentially unsafe to eat. Such poor food quality can easily make someone sick. Customers trust that the food they pay for is safe and fresh, and it’s deeply concerning when that trust is broken. One positive note I want to mention is that when I reported the issue, the staff member who took the order remained calm and professional. They discussed the matter with the manager, and I was issued a refund, which I appreciate. However, the bottom line is that if a restaurant is open and accepting orders, they have a responsibility to ensure the food they serve meets quality and safety standards. I hope Indus Eatery takes this seriously and improves their food handling practices moving forward. Service: 3 Price per person: $10–20
