It was our 2nd. to last day in St.John,s,and after visiting the north east section of Newfoundland,was hungryEasy access to East Side Mario.I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and spaghetti with meatballs.It was excellent.The waitress was friendly and gave great service. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about East Side Mario's:
East Side's has been one of my favourite restaurants in town for years. Unfortunately, it was acquired by new owners who boosted the prices and lowered the portion sizes just to make more money. I went back on my birthday and found out that their famous Parmesan cheese had been replaced with a bland version, which in turn, makes the rest of the food bland as well. Switching suppliers. Had breakfast tickets from staying at holiday inn everything off the menu was excellent room service food not very good for diner but eat in the restaurant and the food is food very nice service in restaurant
The best East Side Mario's i've had. Service is always fast, attentive and friendly. The food is delish and freshly made. I love the bruschetta pizza and the garden salad. The dressing on the garden salad is to die for! They have great dessert too if you have room!! We eat here often!
If you're craving noodles, or sandwich it's the place to go. It is overpriced for what type of food it offers. It is definitely family friendly. food is average. The last time we ate there we left nearly blinded as the overhanging light fixture had a 100W bulb beaming down on us (which was quite uncomfortable) . i left with a headache because of it.
Nice to have a restaurant such as EAST SIDE MARIO within same building as a hotel... on top of this the meals were excellent...there is a bar on the side for adults to enjoy a quiet drink while eating at the same time ... would recommend this place to eat anytime..
Good food st a reasonable price. Food is delicious and service is very efficient. The menu has something to please everyone. The ceasar salad and bread refills are great for the very hungry. Great place for a quick tasty meal..plenty of parking.
