Description

A modern, rustic-inspired breakfast and brunch destination wows with inventive, generously portioned dishes—crispy sweet bacon, decadent cinnamon-roll French toast, towering crepes and massive frappes—and consistently attentive service. Bright monochrome decor feels upscale, though the open layout can be uncomfortably loud. Most plates impress, but a few items (notably the grits) and limited condiments reveal occasional inconsistencies. Prices are on the higher side, yet many diners consider the food and hospitality worth a return visit.

It is a modern restaurant that serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch with no boundaries. The style of decor is inspired by rusty farm design. The color scheme is black and white monochromatic; giving the layout the appearance of being broaderThe menu is simple, but it contains a wide range of enticing items. I chose their famous breakfast (legendary breakfast), which included two sunny side up eggs (cage free eggs), grits, bacon (billion dollar bacon), and a side of two mini waffles. The bacon is crispy and caramelized to perfection. There's a hint of sweetness. I'm assuming it's honey-coated. It's unfortunate because it was the only thing I enjoyed. I was anticipating the grit because I never had it before. It doesn't look appealing at all, just a pile of mush covered in cheese sauce and topped with chopped herbs, possibly parsley? The first taste was terrible; it was flavorless and so disappointing that I didn't bother finishing it and gave it away. The eggs and waffles were delicious. I'm delighted it was nicely executed. I'm not sure why it's labeled legendary when it was average. The meal was not particularly filling, so I added a side of cinnamon roll French toast. It has a beautiful crust and fluffy crumb. It was drizzled with cream cheese frosting/syrup. I smiled broadly due to the sensation of the vanilla and cinnamon blended together with every bite. This meal alone had redeemed itself and softened the blow. This restaurant is not horrible at all; I just ordered the wrong items. I hope to return if I'm in the neighborhood.

The food and portion sizes were excellent. The server provided exceptional service. However, the atmosphere had an open concept layout, which led me to deduct one star.

The food is truly delightful. They seat you right away, and the manager, Luis, is very attentive.

As soon as I walked in, I felt like I had entered an upscale breakfast venue. The atmosphere was bright, clean, and incredibly inviting! The S’moreo and salted caramel frappes were enormous and absolutely delicious—I even took half of mine home to savor later. The side of greens was perfectly dressed with a lemon vinaigrette that had just the right amount of citrus flavor. The cluck cluck skillet is truly a feast for a family of four; just a heads-up, this isn't mentioned on the menu, but it reheats wonderfully! The chicken and sausage gravy was simply mouthwatering. I opted for a Nutella, banana, and strawberry crepe instead of the biscuit, and wow—it was seriously delicious. I'm from Florida, but when I come back to visit, Syrup will definitely be on my must-visit list!
