I made a reservation for my wife and me for our anniversary last Wednesday. When we arrived, a man sitting in a booth told us they had closed early. It was only 6:30 PM, and we had made our reservation in advance. My wife mentioned this, but the man reluctantly agreed to serve us. I was shocked! This level of service is unacceptable and is sure to chase customers away. I felt incredibly embarrassed, especially since I had been praising this restaurant to others. They really need to rethink their approach if they want to stay in business with such rude behavior.
I rarely write negative reviews, but the manager at Riad tonight was extremely unprofessional. Several items from our order were missing, and some of the food was burnt beyond recognition. When we reached out to management to address these problems, they were unhelpful and dismissive, choosing to argue rather than assist. Honestly, even a shoe would have more personality and competence than this manager. Overall, the customer service was terrible.
I came to see the Arthur Duncan Jazz Trio, and the music, food, and drinks were absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend trying the Arabic platter and the Green Pineapple drink. They also have a great selection of beers. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and the drinks were amazing—definitely a fantastic experience!
