Purple Burrito
4.5 / 5 (265 reviews)

Description

Nestled in Springfield, the Purple Burrito offers a lively atmosphere and visually appealing decor, reminiscent of classic California-style Mexican eateries. While some diners rave about the generous portions and tasty burritos, others find the food underwhelming, citing issues like bland flavors and inconsistent quality. While the service is generally friendly, the counter-ordering system raises eyebrows, especially with its tipping prompt. Though many appreciate the affordability, opinions vary widely, leaving it unclear whether this eatery can live up to its Californian roots. Overall, the Purple Burrito remains a hit-or-miss destination for quick, casual bites.

As always, perfection! The order was delivered on time, everything was fresh and nothing was spilled. I only have two pictures because my kids ran off with theirs.

Wow! This order was amazing! The California Burrito was huge and was perfectly seasoned. They did not skimp on any ingredients. If youre looking for SoCal Mexican food, I highly recommend ordering from Purple Burrito

The Fish Burrito was incredibly delicious! It was like a huge fish taco rolled up in a burrito. It was so good! The Fish Tacos were also amazing as always. The Chips and Cheese Dip were good, although the chips were a bit too thick for my liking. I loved that the cheese wasn't too spicy. I couldn't resist dipping every last bit!

The tacos were a good size and very crispy. The cheesy garlic fries were delicious. The unique fries were thin and not super crispy, but not soggy either. They had a good amount of cheese and sauce.

I 'm from San Diego. This place advertises California style Mexican food. It 's all true! When we moved here ten years ago. I thought I would never eat a real burrito again. So glad we found this place! It always takes me back to what I missed most about leaving there... the fanatic, taco shop food! Love this place!Food: 5/5
