Papa Johns - Springfield

I generally don't write negative reviews, as I understand that serving the public can be challenging. However, in cases where I have had an extremely frustrating experience, I feel it is important to alert others. Unfortunately, I wish I had read reviews before ordering from this restaurant. We received the wrong pizza, which was missing toppings. When we called to inform them of the mistake, they said they would make a new pizza and bring it to us, but they insisted on taking the incorrect pizza back. This was not a problem for us, as we did not want the meat pizza anyway. However, we were shocked to learn that they would deduct two slices from the new pizza before delivering it. This policy seemed unfair, especially considering that it was their mistake in the first place. We reluctantly agreed to the terms, only to find out that the replacement pizza was still incorrect upon delivery. Furthermore, we had paid extra for additional toppings, but they were not present on the pizza. Despite this, the delivery person was friendly and efficient. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

I am not giving any stars because my partner and I ordered food for delivery from Papa John's. No one showed up, there was no knock on the door, and we didn't receive a phone call. When we called to inquire, the person on the phone promised to resend the food, but once again, there was no delivery, knock, or phone call. Finally, after a long wait, our food arrived. We are very disappointed with Papa John's for taking our money and failing to deliver what we paid for.

This is the second time I have waited over an hour for my pizza and it arrived cold. When I called the manager, they were apologetic and mentioned that they were happy I received my pizza as the wait time was 80 minutes. They took my name and mentioned I would receive a refund within 3 to 5 days. It baffles me how they can take my money instantly but cannot refund it immediately.

A cheese pizza for delivery tonight. the driver was friendly and it arrived exactly on time. the pizza was not soft and fluffy, as the box says. it was pretty hard as if it had been sitting on the heat shelf. flavor was ok. the 18.99 price tag was not worth tho. meh pizza. better customer service.

I will say papa John's is my all time favorite and when I found out they deliver to my new house I was excited. However I ordered the new stuffed pizza and spicy bites. The pizza was so cold and burnt this will not stop me from ordering in the future but I hope the next time is a better experience
