We were seated fast and our waitress was very nice. No complaints w the service. Food was absolutely horrible. They gave us the most stale chips I've ever had. 3 crunchy tacos and a side of rice is what I ordered. Tacos shells were stale and hard, meat hadno flavoring at all. Just gross. Rice was even worse. I give them two stars cause the waitress was nice. Otherwise it would havebeen no stars. 0/10 not recommended.
It's a classic in Springfield started by a local.the story is on their menu. Always a good go to place for the same quality every visit. Alot of memories had and to be had,I can still look over the divider wall and see myself and friends sitting therelaughing and having a good time. Enjoy the trip and share your memories, happy Google's friends !
They're Back!! We have enjoyed Da ville for years with great food and exceptional service. but recently the food had become a disappointment. We are pleased to say after tonight's meal with friends...They're back!! The burito enchilada style was greatand we all had generous, delicious servings. The chips were more like the chips we always loved. Of course, the service wasexcellent. Thank you Mexican Villa management and staff for returning to your former foodie glory!
First time visitors: WE?LL BE BACK! Appetizer: Didn?t order one Chips: Warm, fresh, durable Salsa: Three types sweet, mild, hot . Unique! We like spicy, so we chose mild hot, to mix them Meal: Burrito Enchiliada, lunch size. Unusual sauce, almostlike red gravy. Ground beef inside was cooked perfectly, ordered the beans on the side instead of in burrito. Okay portion ofcheese. This ?half portion? was enough for one person. Caution: VERY salty. I won?t order this again b/c my salt intake hasto be minimal b/c of hypertension. Dessert: Didn?t order one Menu: Very varied! Offers traditional Mexican fare, but alsohamburgers/fries, hot dogs, chicken strips. It was priced probably 10% more than we felt would be competitive with other likerestaurants. Menu is available online to view before visiting. To Go: Pick up had its own door to the side, near the parkinglot. Impressive. Server: ALYSSA was attentive, but didn?t hover. We carried on a conversation w/o being interrupted. Sherefilled my water, as necessary. When I asked her to bring something to us, but mentioned we didn?t want her to make a specialtrip, she said, ?That?s what I?m here for, to make sure your experience is positive?. At that point, restaurant was reasonablybusy, so that was an impressive response. That?s not often heard these days. She had a bright smile, and used it often whiletalking, which made her approachable. Side note: another server walked past an unoccupied table, and evidently noticed a spoton the table, went back to the server area to retrieve a washtowel to clean the table. That type of overall care isn?t seenmuch these days, either. Restaurant: Well-placed on main road, across from Mercy hospital. Would be a welcome break from thepressures of taking care of a loved one in the hospital, whether it be Mercy or Cox. Clean, well marked with signs ?Restroomsthis way!?, ?Caution: Top plate is hot!? . Decorated in a welcome Latinx ambiance. Hostess stand
