The food was delicious and service top-notch! Our waiter was was so genuine and incredibly friendly even though it was just before the lunch close time. He never made us feel rushed and had a great conversation with us about the restaurant which we were visiting for the first time as we stopped in Springfield on our route to Oshkosh. I'd stop again...even though a bit out of our way...well worth it!
The food is always superb, deliciously prepared, beautifully presented. The wait staff is always professional, overly accommodating. We have made this our anniversary treat for over 20 years, will continue to do so. Thank you Maldaner's for a special evening with my love!!

This is a wonderful spot to enjoy a menu featuring local dishes. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the noise level was low, allowing us to chat comfortably without having to raise our voices. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The flourless chocolate cake for dessert was exceptional and could easily be shared among the four of us.
The food was forgettable; the halibut was completely dried out.
