I struggle to see how this be... read more While I've experienced poor customer service before, I've never been harassed after leaving a restaurant or told not to come back. I struggle to see how this behavior benefits the restaurant from the waitress's standpoint. Overall, my experiences at Kai have been excellent and worthy of five stars. However, this particular waitress deserves no stars. For that reason, I'm rating the restaurant four stars. Sometimes you encounter someone having a bad day, and it seems she could use a break and a reminder that confronting customers after they've left is unacceptable.

The food was served quickly and was exceptionally well-prepared! The portion sizes were quite generous for American-style sushi. Their late-night menu boasts a wonderful variety, ensuring there's something for everyone. The garnishes were not only edible but also delicious! The sauces were remarkable, and their cocktails were perfectly balanced—you could hardly taste the alcohol, and they weren’t excessively fruity like many house cocktails usually are. The restaurant's ambiance is breathtaking, with calming music and low lighting that truly makes you feel like royalty.

I go there about once a week, and everything on the menu is excellent, but my favorite dish is the New York strip. The staff is amazing, and the food is among the best in Springfield. If I could, I would give it 10 stars!
