Unfortunately, they were quite rude and the overall experience was disappointing. They seemed indifferent to whether customers were satisfied or not. For instance, I ordered a deluxe pizza with extra sausage, but it arrived with no sausage at all. When I complained, management promised to make me a new one, but an hour later I still had to ask if it was being prepared, and they just said “in a minute.” The food itself is classic and enjoyable, but the management is unresponsive and stagnant. They really need new staff. Also, a suggestion: remove the stickers from the peppers!

When I contacted the manager to request a refund, they sent the delivery person back to collect the pizza. I had to retrieve it from the trash, but the delivery person refused the pizza and still wouldn’t give me a refund. I called the manager again, and he told me to contact other companies instead. This is awful customer service. I’m shocked that Imo's Pizza would treat a customer this way and serve such poor quality food. They should be ashamed. I won’t be ordering from their menu again.

Imo’s Pizza is by far the best pizza spot in Springfield. It really takes me back to the homemade pizzas I loved at Hampton in St. Louis, although those were often overcooked. Even when I request it undercooked there, it never comes out right. It’s a shame I have to drive three hours just to get a great pizza!
